He told me that the night before we called him and asked him to join the band-literally‚ we called him at 5 a.m. from Las Vegas‚ asking him to join the band-and the night before‚ as he was going to bed‚ he prayed to God that he could hook up with some guys that would play what he wanted to play. And he was just like‚ "God‚ I know that I have this music in me‚ that you've given me‚ and I really want to find a way to make it‚ and I want you to put me in a situation where I can explore the music I want to explore." And we called him like six hours later. (laughter) That's crazy.
